Remember when you used to watch The Price Is Right and they'd give away a washer and dryer set as a prizes? Well, I do and I remember how much I thought those prizes sucked. No glitz and no glamour. Boring.
Today, I'd give just about anything to have the chance to win one of those.
Our washing machine went up in smoke this afternoon. Literally. The fire alarm called me to the laundry room and there was water all over the floor and smoke all above. Luckily, the breaker tripped and a major disaster was avoided. The dryer survived, but the washer has gone the way of Tofino's water supply.
