Long Weekend Gardening

Oma & Opa and Mel & Jay came to visit Saturday and help us out with some rubbish removal, gardening, and mattress moving. And during that time, Opa & I enjoyed watching hours of World Cup soccer. A bit one-sided and selfish perhaps, but hey -- you do what you can, right? :)

Oma worked on the front landscape, while Jay and Mel trucked away some rubbish, including our broken washing machine. And then, after our new mattress was delivered by Sleep Country, we tightened up our bed frame and loaded up the new bedding. Fantastic and incredibly comfortable!

Anyways, I managed to snap a couple of shots of the much improved landscaping out front, thanks to Oma's tireless gardening. the front looks a thousand times better and now I'm looking forward to adding a little garden and some spot lights to spruce up the night-time look.
